Niny Jung
Niny is the Operations Manager at Compass Acquisition Partners. She is responsible for managing all of our acquisitions and dispositions to ensure a smooth and efficient process. She executes our business plan and coordinates all activities with our Investors, Lenders, Title and Escrow agencies and all Third Parties and has successfully closed over $160 million of real estate transactions. Prior to joining Compass, she worked with John Walsh at Marcus & Millichap where she was the Operations Manager for The Walsh Group. Niny earned her B.S. from California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis in Business Finance and Management.
Sanj A. Kakar
Sanj is Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Compass Acquisition Partners. His responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying investment opportunities, negotiating contracts and managing procedures inherent in the purchase of properties. He is currently running the single family home division, Gilmore Investments LLC, that acquires single family homes in bulk as well as individually at trustee auctions. He has over 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, with a focus on the acquisition of high-yield cash-flow properties in asset types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, land and distressed commercial debt. Further, he has extensive experience in every aspect of the real estate process including pro-active sourcing, in-depth negotiation, underwriting, analysis and acquisition debt/equity structuring Prior to joining Compass Acquisition Partners, Sanj was Vice President of Acquisitions for Fowler Property Acquisitions, as well as Vice President of Acquisitions for RK Properties Inc., both of California. He has been solely responsible for the acquisition and disposition of over $800 million in assets since 1999. Sanj earned his B.S. from California State University, Long Beach with an emphasis on Finance and Real Estate.
James Gentry
James is the Construction/Rehab Manager at Compass Acquisition Partners. He coordinates and supervises our construction and rehabilitation projects from the conceptual development stage through completion, ensuring our projects are completed on time and within budget. James is also responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, as well as directing and monitoring compliance with local building and safety codes. James proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and is an Iraq War veteran.
